ABOUT OUR WARRANTY POLICY
Saunas and More is an authorized dealer for the products offered on this website. Product warranties are provided by the applicable manufacturer and the coverage, duration, conditions and exclusions vary by manufacturer and, in some cases, by product or component.
This Warranty Policy summarizes the principal warranty provisions currently provided to us by our manufacturers. The applicable manufacturer's warranty terms, conditions and exclusions apply in all cases.
If you believe you have a warranty issue, please contact us at sales@saunasandmore.com. We will work with you and the applicable manufacturer through the warranty process.
IMPORTANT — WARRANTY COVERAGE VARIES BY MANUFACTURER AND PRODUCT
Please read the section below for the brand of product you are purchasing. Warranty periods, component coverage, registration requirements, exclusions and treatment of residential or commercial use may differ between manufacturers.
GOLDEN DESIGNS
Warranty Coverage
Golden Designs provides a manufacturer warranty against qualifying defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty is parts only and does not cover labor.
Indoor infrared saunas are covered by the indoor infrared sauna warranty. Hybrid saunas use the Hybrid/Outdoor warranty, including Hybrid models designed for indoor use only.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser at the original installation location and is not transferable. Transfer of ownership or relocation of the sauna will terminate the warranty.
Residential & Commercial Use
The standard warranty period communicated for Golden Designs saunas is 5 years for residential use and 1 year for commercial use (terms apply).
Installations in Airbnb/VRBO and other short-term rental properties, gyms, health clubs, spas, and other high-traffic or for-profit environments are treated as commercial use and therefore receive the 1-year commercial warranty.
Component-specific coverage applies. For indoor infrared saunas, the current manufacturer warranty states:
- Heating elements and electronics: up to 5 years for residential use and 1 year for commercial use.
- Wood structure: 1-year limited warranty.
For Hybrid/Outdoor saunas, the current manufacturer warranty provides 5-year coverage for the wood structure when properly maintained, control panel, applicable control-panel harnesses and lights. The stove/heater is covered separately under its own manufacturer's warranty.
Warranty Registration
All Golden Designs products must be registered within 60 days of purchase, including Infrared, Hybrid and Outdoor models.
Please complete the Golden Designs Product Registration within this 60-day period.
Proof of purchase is required. The product serial number can normally be found on the sauna's front panel, rear panel or carton.
What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover damage or problems caused by negligence, misuse, abuse, unauthorized alteration or modification, unauthorized repairs, improper installation, use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions, or other excluded conditions.
Normal wear and tear and natural weathering do not invalidate the entire warranty. However, normal cosmetic changes such as fading, discoloration, surface wear and deterioration associated with regular use or weather exposure are not manufacturing defects and are not covered.
Surface cracks caused by the natural expansion and contraction of wood are not considered defects in materials or workmanship.
Indoor infrared saunas must not be painted or lacquered and must not be installed outdoors. Outdoor installation of an indoor-only sauna will void the applicable warranty.
Products with defaced or removed serial numbers are not eligible for warranty service.
Outdoor Sauna Care & Maintenance
Outdoor models must be properly protected from outdoor weather elements. Appropriate weather protection must be maintained for the sauna, including exposed areas such as the glass door. Damage caused by inadequate protection from rain, snow, sun, wind or extreme temperatures is not covered by the warranty.
Depending on climate and exposure, the exterior wood may need to be professionally resurfaced periodically.
DIY staining, painting or otherwise altering the sauna's original color or finish will void the warranty.
Some movement, expansion, contraction and water seepage can occur naturally in outdoor wood products and are not necessarily defects.
Harvia Heater Warranty
Where a sauna includes a Harvia stove/heater, the heater is covered separately by a 1-year Harvia manufacturer's warranty and is not included in the Golden Designs 5-year/1-year sauna warranty.
Making a Golden Designs Warranty Claim
Please contact us at sales@saunasandmore.com with your order details, a description of the issue and photographs or other supporting information where relevant.
Proof of purchase, the product serial number and/or return of a defective part may be required. Eligible replacement parts are covered under the applicable warranty, but labor is not included.
DUNDALK LEISURECRAFT
Warranty Coverage
Products designed and manufactured by Dundalk LeisureCraft carry a 5-year limited warranty for normal residential use (terms apply), beginning on the date the product is received by the original end-user customer.
For a valid warranty claim, replacement parts are provided at no charge. The warranty is parts only and does not cover service, labor or installation costs.
Replacement of a part does not extend the original warranty period.
Residential & Commercial Use
The current Dundalk LeisureCraft warranty applies to products under normal residential use.
Commercial, short-term rental or other for-profit use may be subject to different warranty terms. If you are purchasing for an Airbnb/VRBO, hospitality property or other commercial application, please contact us before ordering if warranty coverage is important to your purchase decision.
Heaters & Other Third-Party Products
Products offered by Dundalk LeisureCraft but manufactured by another company are covered under the applicable manufacturer's warranty rather than the Dundalk 5-year residential warranty.
Current sauna-heater warranty periods published by Dundalk include:
- Harvia KIP electric heaters: 3 years; elements and rocks excluded.
- Sauna360 Designer B electric heaters: 3 years; elements and rocks excluded.
- Homecraft Revive electric heaters: 3 years; elements and rocks excluded.
- HUUM Hive Mini and Drop electric heaters: 3 years; elements, rocks and sensors excluded.
- LeisureCraft Timberglow wood-burning heaters: 5 years; glass door, ash grate and rocks excluded.
- Narvi Kaamos, Kuru and NC Black wood-burning heaters: 2 years; glass door, ash grate and rocks excluded.
- HUUM Hive Mini Wood: 3 years; glass door, ash grate and rocks excluded.
- LeisureCraft chimney kits: 5 years.
All electrical connections must be made by a licensed electrician. Failure to comply with this requirement will void the applicable warranty.

- Normal wear and tear
- Improper installation
- Insufficient or improper maintenance
- Natural weather conditions
- Failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, usage or care instructions
