Founder's Story
I'm Neil, the founder and CEO of Saunas and More...
For several decades, I worked for large, International Corporations in the UK, North America and Singapore, working in their Finance and Compliance functions. My role was to help avoid mistakes in the books and records of the firms, and to ensure they followed local and international laws and regulations.
Through this experience I learned how to run a business the right way and the wrong way, and I decided to take what I had learned and put it into building my own Business from the ground up (the right way!).
The huge growth in online shopping in recent years has been phenomenal, but many of the large-scale shopping sites feel non-personal and lack quality advice and guidance.
This is not a huge problem when making small purchases, but for more expensive items, it can be very off-putting for the customer.
I wanted to address that gap for higher priced items, by providing useful information, guidance, and personalized support, to make the customer’s online buying experience as reassuring and educated as possible.
I am also passionate about the importance of looking after our minds as well as our bodies. And there's no better way to relax and rejuvenate after a hard day than a session in a Sauna, especially in the comfort and security of your own home.
And so, with that in mind, Saunas and More was born.
My aim with this business is simple. To offer a select range of easy to assemble Saunas and related products, sourced from the US and Canada and delivered direct to your home, and to make the buying journey as reassuring and enjoyable as possible.
